Steps to change the True Key Master Password-

If you can sign in to True Key, then follow these steps to change the password: –

  • First, sign in to True Key.
  • Next, click the user icon at the top right to view your Profile.
  • Now, on the My Factors screen, click Edit next to Change Master Password.
  • Then, type your current Master Password, and type your new Master Password.
  • After that, type your new Master Password again to verify it.
  • At last, click Change Password.
  • When your password will change you will be notified about that.

Steps to reset your True Key Master Password:

If you are not able to sign in to True Key, then follow these steps to reset the password: –

  • First, open True Key on a Windows PC.
  • Next, type in the email address associated with your True Key profile.
  • After that, click Forgot your Master Password.
  • Then, type in the email address associated with your True Key account.
  • Now, check your inbox for an email received from True Key.
  • Follow the instructions in the email and sign in using the authentication factors that you previously set up.
  • Now, you have to create a new Master Password and confirm it.

Always remember that Forgot Master Password option only works if you have not disabled the Master Password Reset feature in the Profile Preferences of True Key and you have configured at least two additional authentication factors, or alternative ways of signing into True Key, like Email, Second device, or Fingerprint.

You can only reset your Master Password on a Trusted Device i.e. which you have added it as a Trusted Device to your True Key Profile. Allowing access from only Trusted Devices prevents someone else from accessing your account from an unknown device.
