  3. Click on the “Edit” option. Approve the User Account Control when it is prompted.

  5. Then, in the Enter the object names, type SYSTEM, and then click Check names.
  6. Then, click OK.
  7. To change the permissions, click “Edit” option and select the SYSTEM user account, and verify in the Permissions section that Full Control is set to Allow.
  8. Next, close the Permissions dialog and return to Properties then, click “Advanced” option.
  9. Then, select “Change permissions” option.
  10. In the Permissions tab, select the SYSTEM entry and click “Edit” button.
  11. Then, click the Applies to dropdown and select “This folder, subfolder, and files”. Click “OK” button.
  12. Finally, you have to wait for the Operating System to apply the permissions for all the child folders. And after that, you have to run the Windows Installer package.
